The Fall

True testimony of how Jah saved me as I was falling from the seventh floor.

Life After The Fall
My name is Robert. There was a time in my life when I was living in sin, a life without God. Smoking, drinking,clubbing, party. Basically, I was living for myself and worldly pleasures. I did not read the Bible or go to church; I had no thought for God or about my soul; I was not sure if there was a God. I had no
political, religious, or social views.

One morning, after finishing work, I lay down to sleep on my setty. As I lay there, I had a visitation from the Lord. The power of God came upon me and convicted me of sin. The Lord revealed to me that the Bible is true and that it is the Word of God. As the Spirit of the Lord brought conviction to my heart, I began to cry.

I heard a voice say to me, Do you believe in the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit? " I replied, " Yes! " Following this incident, I experienced both forgiveness of sins and peace in my heart. Prior to this time, I had neither real peace nor real joy! Shortly after my visitation, outlined above, I stood up from where I was lying down. Then I felt pulled towards the window of my flat. I was trying not to go towards the window, but I had no control of myself. Next moment, I found myself outside the window, holding on to the window edge. Finally, I could not hold on any longer, so I released my hold and began to fall rapidly down to the ground. (Up to this time, I cannot remember taking a step where I was standing in my apartment to open the window to being outside.) I was on the 7th floor (plus the ground floor), which would make it 8 floors of a 16-floor apartment complex (see photograph on the front page... seven windows up) and on the far left-hand side. As I was falling rapidly, God opened my mouth, and I called out Jah. I then heard a voice reply, "You are saved." At the same time, I saw a tall white figure as tall as the building. I believe that God delivered me that day because I could have fallen onto a concrete path next to the apartment complex, and at the best, the impact would have paralysed me, or in the worst-case scenario, the fall would have resulted in my death. The law of gravity would cause me to fall on the concrete. As I am falling, the Lord brought me away from the concrete onto a grass verge several feet distant from the building (see back page photo).

A newspaper account of the incident commented,

'The man left a seven-inch indentation in the gras below.' 

At the same time of my fall, I began to witness to the people around me saying God is great; sometime after, I began to go to church and got baptised and continue to witness to God telling others about Jesus. I thank God for His great mercy, love, and kindness to me through Jesus Christ, our Saviour.

Today I preach the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ because God's love and grace have been poured into my heart by the Holy Spirit. (Romans 5:5. KJV)

The Bible says: 

Father Son, Holy Spirit, is one God manifest in the fresh Jesus Christ, the Lord. (Matthew 28:19, 1 Timothy 3:16, KJV)

Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. (John 5:24). For what is your life? It is even a vapour that appears for a little time and then vanishes away. (James 4:14).

Therefore, I urge you to give your life to Jesus Christ and believe in your heart so you will have eternal life. Matthew 1:21, 17:1-9; Mark 9:1-3; Luke 9:27-36; John 1:1-36, 3:1-36; Acts 2:37, 38, 4:12; Romans 10:13; Titus 3:3-8; Revelation 1:13-18, 3:4-6. Read your Bible daily. You can pray the prayer on the back page. For whoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. JESUS IS the Lord (Romans 10:13, KJV)

Lord Jesus I confess I am a sinner. I believe you died for my sins; I believe you are alive. Come into my heart and wash me in your blood and fill me with the Holy Spirit. Help me to follow you; thank you for saving me. Amen.

To enter into a personal relationship with God: Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ; repent; be born again; be baptised in Jesus' name; submit your life to God and follow Jesus.
Read the Bible, and you will grow in God. I have made my allegiance with the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. From the very first moment, I said yes, I believed.
